#truthfulfriday

The truth is, before having DC I envisioned our lives running so much more smoothly. Nothing crazy, just nowhere near as chaotic as it is.

The truth is, I swore up and down that I would never be one of those moms with the screaming baby in a public place, ha that was a nice thought.

The truth is, when my baby cries in a public place and someone gives my uncomfortable, unhappy, and probably not feel so well baby a dirty look, I secretly hope he projectiles in their general direction. What, too much?

The truth is, I use to be one of those people who would judge parents on their parenting skills based on the tantrums their children would throw.

The truth is, tantrums are a thing DC seems to have come with, or taught himself, so yeah that's a cool new trick I suppose. Not.

The truth is, I feel like DC is constantly challenging me and my husband to see who the Alpha is. More times than not,  I think he swears he is.

The truth is, DC has always been a hard baby hating his carseat, never wanting a bottle, pursing his lips from six months to about a year for any sort of food that offered any kind of nutritional value. He is hard, but the other half of that truth is that he brings me more joy than anything else in my entire life, and so much so that having another baby seems more of a blessing than a burden, so bring it on!
