#truthfulfriday

The truth is, nothing in my life ever goes as planned, but it is those "misguided moments" that make it all the better in the end.

The truth is, life is about humbling ourselves. Humbling ourselves to be more patient. Humbling ourselves to forgive. Even, humbling ourselves to ask for forgiveness.

The truth is, my son has the hardest time eating complete meals.

The truth is, my son hates sitting in his highchair.

The truth is, sometimes my son isn't the nicest little man on the planet, but the truth is, I ain't always a bed of roses either.

The truth is, I apologize to my son for telling him to "wait one more minute," and for putting him in timeout because I want him to know that I am always here for him, even when I have to be a tough cookie.

The truth is, I bribe my little man with cookies to get him into his carseat.

The truth is, we call his vitamins "treats," and he comes running for those sweet chewables.

The truth is, I am still nursing and don't plan on stoping for at least a few more weeks regardless of what other people think.

Side note- We had a friend of ours over not too long ago, and she snapped these photos of us and they were so perfect I couldn't resist sharing! Thank you Hannah. See more of her work here!
