DC is just as terrified of the vacuum, as I am of earwigs. Its a rather hilarious sight the moment I stumble on one of those bugs, let me tell ya. Imagine me squealing when I see the earwig, then running to vacuum it up, and then DC squealing when he hears the vacuum, making it a tantrum of fears for a solid five to ten minutes amongst the two of us. We are just a big bunch of chickens over here!
I spend large quantities of time making my hair look like I didn't even try, which seems a little ridiculous, but true.
I never wear makeup anymore, because a nice summers glow is all I need to feel somewhat decent.
My monthly friend has found its way back into my life, although I am not so sure how I feel about it just yet. The acne kinda blows, but feeling "regular again," and by regular I mean being able to better predict when I will be an emotional wreck, and crave chocolate for breakfast, lunch and dinner, one week out of a month is kinda nice.
I can't believe my baby can walk.
I can't believe my baby is a toddler.
I can't believe I am throwing him a birthday party this weekend.
I can believe the saying "but you will always be my baby," because let's face it he always will be, but also because I think we all know he is a momma's boy.
Forgiveness is both my greatest fault and strength. Try and figure that one out folks.
I am happy to finally say I am working towards my dreams, not even close to being "there" yet, but working on it.
I am scared crapless of falling flat on my face and failing at my dreams.
Having a toddler is also surprisingly easier than having an infant. Huh, who knew?
I loathe copycats, and people who steal my "intellectual property . . " gets me so mad!
That's all folks. Cheers.
Earwigs are disgusting =))))
ReplyDeleteI've never been afraid of insects and all that stuff... But I realize that with age those fears appear and cockroaches is one of them =))))
Natasha,
DeleteEarwigs are the nastiest little critters! I couldn't agree more. I am so embarrassed to be an adult with such silly fears haha.

this made me smile. my husbands greatest fears are praying mantises and of course, earwigs. he cringes every single time one shows up in our house. it's pretty funny to me, seeing as how he kill spiders for me with ease but an earwig gives him the willies.
ReplyDeleteand also, yay to chasing your dreams! you rock.
Lacey,
DeleteI am so scared of earwigs! They shoot up their stingers and I panic. Ha, I am right there with your husband!
Thank you so much for your love always!
