Cleaning up Before Bed

Summer is finally here, or at least it feels like summer with this heat! With the sudden wave of sun comes sweaty and sun-kissed babes.
I'm not complaining! Ain't nothing cuter than a tan, blue-eyed babe of mine, with their huge grins and dirt-covered hands.
As a city girl I didn't spend nearly as much time outside exploring as my kids do, but man do I love that we are raising them Midwest style. We are always out for a walk, "exploring" for bugs, tending to our tiniest of gardens (basil you better stay alive dangit), and playing chase the dogs. It's the simplest life when Summer finally comes out to play with us, and man do we love it. So does my husband. He loves him a tan wifey. Huh, babe?!
As per usual I digress. Back to the clean my dirty babes thing. Aida (the sweetest girl there is) has the absolute most sensitive eczema prone skin. After a recommendation from our friend Nadia, we found Mustela, which has lines for four unique baby skin types, and we’ve been loving it ever since.
We add a few drops of Mustela's Stelatopia Bath Oil into the water to clean and comfort her skin and we are good to go. We rinse her off, shampoo her hair with Foam Shampoo, and out she comes. Homegirl is clean, smiling, and ready for bed... unless she is super tired which for some odd reason means the opposite - she's livid, she's not sleeping, and she's totally losing her cool!
In which case we skip the lotion and massage, and right to bed she goes. If that’s not the case, I like to finish her off with the Stelatopia Emollient Balm for some extra moisture. Just like that my day of work (as momma) is done, and I can start the real hustle... the dishes!
Thank you Mustela for partnering with us on this post. All opinions are my own.
