Conversations with my two year old

"DC, do you want to help momma?"-me
"No."-DC

"DC, do you have a poopie diap?"-me
"Yea... it stinky!"- DC (covers his nose with his shirt)

"DC, I got you some new pants!"-me
"Oh, wow! New pants!"-DC

"DC, do you want a new truck?"-me
"Yeah, new truck!"-DC
"Then, you have to do poopie in your toilet."-me
"I say help, help mommy poopie?"-DC
"Yes, baby. You tell mommy when you have to go potty."
"Mommy, poop?"-DC
"Yes, Mommy does potty in the toilet."-me
"Mommy get new truck?!"-DC
"…"-me

Things are getting really awesome 'round here. I am learning that with his amazing sentences, + our awesome conversation, also comes my toddler repeating what he wants over and over again until he gets it. You win some you lose some, am I right?!
