hairspray // dry shampoo // curling iron
hashtag- wavy hair tutorial1. Section off the top half of your hair from the bottom.
2. My hair is rather thick, so I section it again. Half of the bottom section is then clipped up.
3. Wrap your hair around your curling iron or wand (mine is a 1 & 1/2 inch barrel), away from your face. I use both thicker and thinner sections of hair to create a variation in the look of the waves. Tip-the longer you leave your hair on the hot barrel, the curlier the curl. If you want natural looking waves less time on the barrel is key.
5. After curling a section of hair, I give it a light spritzing with hairspray.
6. Move to the other side of your head, section off and wrap your hair around the barrel (away from your face). Repeat until your entire head is curled.
7. Flip your hair so it covers your face, giving it one last light spritz.
8. Apply dry shampoo at the root of your hair.
9. Tease roots with your fingertips to blend in dry shampoo (don't forget to do the crown of your head).
10. Bam! You now have wavy locks. Enjoy!
Great tutorial! I'm going to have to try that dry shampoo.

Hey girl! Does that Bumble dry shampoo blend well with your hair color? I have dark hair and thought about trying this dry shampoo I can't seem to find one that actually works and blend well.
ReplyDeleteLiz,
DeleteYes! I have to give it an extra bit of "teasing" with my fingertips, but it does blend! It also gives a lot of volume if you have thick hair (it even holds it for a few hours)!
Hope this helps, and sorry for the delayed response!

ReplyDeleteMatilde,
