Last night I woke up at 1:30 AM with a major headache, and absolutely no medicine for it. So, I threw on a sweatshirt + yoga pants, jumped into the car drove myself to the 24-hour CVS (them suckers be lifesavers) got some meds, came home and both my boys were still out! Like snoring, and everything out! No no, don't worry about me guys I'm just dying over here, but you two get your rest! I was a little jealous to say the least. I was wide awake with a pounding headache, and all I could think of were things I would say if I were a comedian to make light of the situation. 

Here are a few of my thoughts-

A child gets sick, they miss school. The mother makes them soup, has all the meds they need lined up and ready to go. She rubs them with vapor rub if they have a cold. Grabs them the extra soft blanket when they're cold. She runs and grabs them anything they're craving, let's them sleep in her bed. I mean it's pretty much like being a king for a day!

When a wife's husband gets sick, she makes sure he is tucked in bed. She get his the sports illustrated, so he has something to read. She gives him a foot rub, she makes him some homemade tortilla soup. She even keeps the kids quiet so they don't wake daddy! You know, the whole nine. 

When mommy gets sick she's s.o.l., and if she's a stay at home mom, it's not even a dang day off. 

Welcome to mom life. I love being a mom, but sometimes......

Oh, did I mention I rolled into a pee spot on my bed as I woke up this morning. Thanks son, that was real special haha.
