Fall Apple Crisp

I'm not much into crisps of any kind, but my husband sure does love them, and we had a bunch of apples that needed to get used up. Those two facts combine gave me the perfect opportunity to try my hand at apple crisp, and I think it turned out pretty well! Plus, can anything really taste bad with a huge glob of homemade whip cream over the top? I think not!

What you'll need-

3 cups apples (cored + peeled)
1/3 cup white sugar
1/3 cup + 1 tsp all purpose flour
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/3 cup quick oats
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/8 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp baking soda
2 tbs + 2 tsp butter (melted)
1 tsp vanilla extract

What you'll do-

Preheat oven to 350 F.
Place apples in baking dish.
Mix white sugar, 1 tbs flour and cinnamon together. Sprinkle mixture over apples.
Mix oats, 1/3 cup flour, brown sugar, baking power, baking soda, melted butter, and vanilla together.
Crumble over apples.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Serve with a huge heaping scoop of whip cream.
Enjoy!
